History of Brambletye

The Brambletye has been a hotel since 1866 and we can offer a warm welcome in comfortable surroundings.  Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of the Sherlock Holmes novels featured the Brambletye Inn in `The Adventures of Black Peter.’  Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson stayed at the hotel while carrying out their investigation in the story.
